We just lost someone very dear to us here in Nashville today...Joe Diffie...to the coronavirus. He is the brother of one of my precious friends, and was a country music icon and a Grand Ole Opry member.
The lives we are losing in Tennessee and around the world to this disease is so sad to me. This virus is incredibly serious and no life lost is okay, famous or not. My heart is broken for the Diffie family and for all of the families affected by this outbreak.
Hope is so important to hold onto, especially in times like these. Choose to cling to hope and not despair. Hold your family a little tighter tonight. Call the ones you love and tell them so. Don't allow your faith to be shaken. We know that all things are certainly not good, but all things can work together for good when we believe.
